Opening of jeweller S.M. WILD in Linz: umdasch The Store Makers combines tradition, quality and sophisticated design
On 3rd November, the new S.M. WILD jeweller's shop opened at Taubenmarkt in Landstraße 16 in Linz. On an area of around 60 m², the traditional jeweller presents itself with a large Rolex display as well as other well-known brands from the watch and jewellery industry. The umdasch Store Makers were responsible for the design, concept and shopfitting of the S.M. WILD multi-brand area as well as for lighting and general contracting throughout the store and implemented a sophisticated, uniform brand image. A project with premium quality.
RCC2 research project: CO2 savings of up to 80 per cent possible in construction with innovative concrete
Vienna, 14 November 2023 – The Austrian research study RCC2 (reduced carbon concrete) investigated the potential of innovative concrete mix designs to decarbonise concrete. The broad-based consortium tested ways of establishing CO2-reduced and even climate-neutral concrete as the new state of the art.

At the production site of umdasch The Store Makers in Litomyšl, Czech Republic, the ceremonial ground-breaking on 7 November 2023 marked the official start of construction for the expansion of the production area. With the investment, it is planned to triple the wood production on site by the beginning of 2025 in order to create additional capacity for current and future large-scale projects.

On 10 October 2023, the first upper floor opened at BETTENRID in Theatinerstraße in Munich. As part of the joint master concept by umdasch The Store Makers and BETTENRID, all four floors of the traditional Bavarian company for high-quality home textiles have been converted in the style of an old villa since 2018. The Store Makers were responsible for the design, shopfitting and general contracting of the entire building. With the completion of the first upper floor, the long-standing cooperation between BETTENRID and umdasch in Theatinerstraße comes to a crowning conclusion.
Gothenburg’s skyline reaches new heights with 247-metre Karlatornet
Gothenburg’s first skyscraper, the tallest building in the Nordic countries, is currently under construction in Sweden. Doka’s internationally renowned expertise in high-rise construction played a key role in the realisation of the Nordic giant Karlatornet. EDGE East Side Tower: (Still) Berlin’s tallest skyscraper
Between the Warschauer Brücke, the East Side Wall and the Mercedes-Benz Arena stands Berlin's tallest skyscraper at 142 meters: the EDGE East Side Tower.
