After a successful opening of the Roastery & Bake Hall and Fine Wines & Spirits Room, which was part of the biggest redesign of the historic Food Halls in the last 30 years, umdasch was commissioned to work in collaboration with David Collins Studio to revamp the Men´s International Designer Room 1 of the Menswear section in the store.

The A85 motorway is one of the main thoroughfares connecting the cities of Anger and Vierzon in France. Along the route a total of six viaducts are expanded to improve the flow of traffic. Doka made an important contribution to the infrastructure initiative by using BIM to deliver an efficient and easily adaptable formwork solution for widening the “Viaduc de la Roumer“ section.

Helsinki Airport Duty-Free Opens A new concept realised by umdasch

The newly opened Duty-Free in an area of 330 square metres is a great example of the new trends we are seeing in Travel Retail, as airports strive to stand out from the crowd and offer travellers innovative and varied shopping experiences. umdasch was commissioned to work on the Helsinki Airport Duty-Free, providing engineering, manufacturing, installation and project management services for the joinery works. Helsinki Duty Free was realised in March, changing both the atmosphere of the store and the layout to encourage a better flow of travellers passing through. It now houses the new Non-Schengen Dufry Plaza Store which was the first store to be installed in Europe.

From April 8 through to April 14, Munich was once again the largest international meeting place of the construction sector. With 620,000 visitors from 200 nations, bauma 2019 managed to attract the largest number of visitors in its 65-year history, making the event a bauma for the record books yet again. Roughly 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries presented their range of products and services on an area covering approximately 614,000 m². On Doka’s stand measuring 4,700 m², visitors were beckoned by Doka yellow.
